Converted to turboprop in 1968 - still owned by the government. Went to civilian use in 1989, and was fully restored to a Grumman G21-G starting in 2010 at Paine Field. What a beautiful aircraft! Won the Gold Lindy for Grand Champion 'Seaplanes' at the Oshkosh AirVenture 2021 just weeks before I caught it being back at its home base at PAE.
